Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the establishment of a boarding boxing academy in the Chakarpur Stadium hostel located in Khatima assembly constituency.
Formal announcement was made during the National Games
It is worth noting that this was announced by Chief Minister Dhami on 11 February 2025 on the occasion of the Mallakhamb competition organized under the 38th National Games at Chakarpur Stadium in Udham Singh Nagar.
The boxers of the state will get a new direction
After the establishment of the Boxing Academy in Khatima, the boxers of the state will get a new direction. This academy will prove to be helpful in providing modern facilities and making the emerging players experts in boxing.
