Uttarakhand: CM Dhami held a high-level meeting, gave instructions to prepare a list of undisciplined employees

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday. In the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami directed the officials to identify such personnel who are not discharging their responsibilities properly. The CM has directed to take action as per rules to give compulsory retirement to such personnel.
CM gave instructions to take action against those occupying private land
Chief Minister Dhami directed the concerned officials in the meeting that strict action should be taken against those who occupy government land and in many cases private land of the people in the state. Along with this, CM Dhami directed the DGP to run a special campaign for the arrest of wanted criminals involved in various crimes.
Action should be taken against adulterators and electricity thieves: CM
The Chief Minister said that in view of the festive season, an intensive campaign should be run to prevent adulteration in food items and to prevent electricity theft. The CM said that strict action should be taken against adulterators and electricity thieves. Along with this, the CM asked the concerned department to run a continuous campaign for a drug-free Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami gave instructions to increase late night patrolling
The CM said that the police should regularly do intensive checking in the border areas of the state. A list of criminals should be made under the NDPS Act and strict action should be taken against those involved in the drug trade. The CM directed the DGP to make special efforts towards traffic management in the state. It should be ensured that people do not face unnecessary trouble due to traffic jams. The CM has also instructed the police to increase night patrolling.
Efforts should be made to connect the youth with self-employment: CM
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials to make more efforts to connect the youth of the state with self-employment along with employment. Along with this, Chief Minister Dhami has directed to work towards training and skill development of local people in areas like electrician, carpenter, barber, plumber in the state.
