Uttarakhand: Udham Singh Nagar got the gift of boarding boxing academy, academy will be built in Chakarpur Stadium of Khatima, CM Dhami gave approval

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has started to promote sports in Uttarakhand after the completion of Uttarakhand 38th National Games. In this sequence, CM Dhami has approved the boarding boxing academy in Udham Singh Nagar. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami had announced the opening of a boxing academy during the 38th National Games.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the establishment of a boarding boxing academy at Chakarpur Stadium Hostel located in Khatima Assembly of Udham Singh Nagar district on 27 February 2025. In this regard, CM Dhami had announced it on 11 February 2025 on the occasion of the Mallakhamb competition organized under the Uttarakhand 38th National Games at Chakarpur Stadium Udham Singh Nagar. With this approval, boxing players in Uttarakhand will be able to show their skills as well as increase awareness towards sports.

Let us tell you that the 38th National Games started on 28 January 2025 in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. PM Modi inaugurated the National Games in Dehradun. The National Games were held from 28 January to 14 February in different places of Uttarakhand. 34 games were organized in the National Games. In which about 10 thousand players from all over the country participated. After 18 days, the closing ceremony of the National Games was held in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand was praised for organizing the National Games across the country. Along with PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also praised the infrastructure built in Uttarakhand.

After the organization of the National Games, CM Dhami talked about using sports infrastructure to improve the players.
