Soham Shah’s ‘Crazy’ overshadowed ‘Chhava’? It went one step ahead of ‘Tumbaad’

A suspense thriller has come to give a tough fight to Chhaava, which has been ruling the box office for the last 15 days. Soham Shah starrer Crazy hit the theatres last Friday, 28 February. Crazy was eagerly awaited ever since the success of the re-release of Tumbbad.
Crazy, full of suspense and thrill, has not grown much, but the story is such that it keeps you hooked till the end. Soham Shah has played the lead role in this 93-minute film. His performance was excellent. Critics have praised the film, but whether this praise has had any effect on the box office test or not, the first day’s box office collection has made it clear.
Crazy could beat Chhaava?
There was excitement among the audience about Soham Shah starrer Crazy, but perhaps it faded in front of Chhaava. It has made a very slow start at the box office on the first day. However, Crazy has done more business than Tumbbad which was released seven years ago. Perhaps the clash with Chhava proved to be detrimental for Crazy.
This is what happened to Crazy on the first day
According to the early trade of Saccanilk, Soham Shah starrer Crazy opened the account at the domestic box office with just 90 lakh rupees on the first day. The earnings have not been as per the buzz that was seen about the film. The future of Crazy depends on Saturday and Sunday. If it earns well on the weekend, then perhaps its condition will not be like Tumbbad.
Tumbbad left behind
Tumbad, released in 2018, earned less than Crazy on the first day. At that time, its collection was only Rs 65 lakh. Tumbbad flopped badly seven years ago, but it was re-released last year and it did a tremendous collection. It did a business of around Rs 35 to 40 crore in the re-release.
