Gaza’s food and water supply stopped, Israel gave a shock as soon as Ramadan started; stopped the supply

Israel has blocked all aid and supplies to the Gaza Strip. Israel said it was blocking the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip. The Prime Minister’s Office did not give much information about the decision, but warned that Hamas would face ‘additional consequences’ if it did not accept the US proposal to extend the ceasefire on Israel’s behalf.
It was not immediately clear whether the aid supply had been completely stopped. The first phase of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, which included an increase in humanitarian aid, ended on Saturday.
This condition was placed before Hamas
The two sides have not yet negotiated the second phase, in which Hamas was to release dozens of remaining hostages in exchange for Israel’s withdrawal and a permanent ceasefire. Israel said earlier on Sunday that it supports a proposal to extend the first phase of the ceasefire until Ramadan and or April 20.
‘Hamas will release half the hostages on the first day’
- It said the proposal came from the Trump administration’s Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff.
- According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, under the proposal, Hamas will release half the hostages on the first day and the rest when a permanent ceasefire is agreed.
- There was no immediate comment from the United States, Egypt or Qatar, which have been mediating between Israel and Hamas for more than a year. Hamas has not yet responded to the proposal.
Israel accepts US proposal
Israel has accepted a proposal from US President Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff for a temporary ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan and Passover.
