If you misbehave, we will beat you up here! Donald Trump’s message to Kim Jong, sent a whole fleet of warships

“If you misbehave, we will teach you a lesson here!” America has sent a message to North Korea in this manner. A few days ago, Kim Jong Un had tested cruise missiles. In response, America has sent its entire fleet of warships to South Korea. On Sunday, America’s aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson arrived at Busan Port in South Korea. This step has been taken to show the strength of the US-South Korea alliance. The South Korean Navy said, “This deployment is a response to North Korea’s threats and shows the strength of our military cooperation.”

How will Kim Jong respond?

On February 23, North Korea tested a cruise missile. Kim Jong Un also reiterated his “preparation for nuclear power”. After the deployment of the American ship, the possibility of North Korea’s response has also increased. Earlier, when USS Theodore Roosevelt came to Korean territory, Pyongyang had protested by firing missiles.

What will Trump do with Kim?

Donald Trump has again assumed the presidency in January. He then called Kim Jong Un a “smart guy” and hinted at talks. But now his government has taken a tough stand against North Korea. Trump had earlier demanded more money from South Korea in exchange for the safety of American soldiers. Trump said in October 2024, “South Korea is a money machine. Now they have to pay $10 billion every year.”

South Korea is also in tension

About 28,500 US soldiers are stationed in South Korea. Seoul’s security depends on America’s “nuclear umbrella”. But questions are being raised about Trump’s foreign policy. Seoul’s international relations expert Dan Pinkston said, “South Korea is currently adopting a strategy of staying calm. They want Trump to focus on Canada, Mexico and China, so that Korea does not face much trouble.”
