Uttarakhand: 17 proposals approved in Dhami cabinet, excise policy approved, minimum support price of sugarcane declared

The meeting of the Uttarakhand Dhami Cabinet has concluded. The cabinet has approved 17 main proposals in the meeting. The cabinet has given the green signal to the excise policy in Uttarakhand. Along with this, a proposal to declare the minimum support price of sugarcane has also been passed.
Main decisions of the Uttarakhand cabinet meeting:
- A textbook titled ‘Hamari Virasat aur Vibhutiyan’ will be implemented to study the history of the state’s movement in classes 6 to 8.
- A 3-year diploma after class 10 will be considered equivalent to class 12
- Minimum support price of sugarcane declared. 375 per quintal for early variety and 365 per quintal for normal variety fixed
- Green signal to the service manual of prison department
- Green signal to relaxation in promotion to employees of personnel department
- Green signal to the manual of group ‘B’ and ‘C’ of state property
- Green signal to the scheme of giving 2 lakh rupees in CM Ekal Mahila Swarojgar Yojana
- Cabinet gives green signal to UPS pension scheme
- Creation of 29 new posts in Stamp and Registration Department
- Green signal to the service manual of Home Department
- Green signal to new scheme for fish farmers to promote trout farming
- 1354 acres of land of Parag Farm of Udham Singh Nagar will be given to SIDCUL
