Weather will change in Uttarakhand, Avalanche alert in Uttarkashi
The mood of the weather is going to change once again in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for six districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of avalanche in Uttarkashi district. For which scientists have issued an orange alert.
Avalanche alert in Uttarkashi district
According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there may be rain in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts today. Apart from this, DGRE Chandigarh has said that there is a possibility of avalanche in areas with an altitude of more than 2500 meters. For which an orange alert has been issued.
Scientists appealed to the local people to stay in safe places
In view of the alert, the Disaster Control Room has increased surveillance in sensitive areas. So that the situation can be controlled in case of disaster. Along with the deployment of watchers, tourists and local people have been advised to stay in safe places.
