Pintu Mahara says that he had driven a boat in the 2019 Kumbh and he had anticipated that this time a very large number of devotees would come to the Maha Kumbh. Pintu Mahara’s family bought 70 boats before the Maha Kumbh. His family of more than a hundred members already had 60 boats. In this way, the Mahara family launched these 130 boats in the Maha Kumbh.

Pintu Mahara and his family say that this Maha Kumbh (arrangements) organized with the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the lives of not only them but also thousands of boatman families. He said that all the boatmen who bought boats by taking loans have now become lakhpatis. Pintu’s mother Shuklavati Devi became emotional while telling that after her husband’s death the financial condition was not good. The whole family was worried. She said that in such a situation Maha Kumbh came as a savior for them.
