Uttarakhand: Hilly self-respect rally in Gairsain on March 6, Narendra Singh Negi invited, BJP gave advice
Protests are going on across the state after the statement given by Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal in the Uttarakhand government in the Dehradun budget session. In this sequence, now a Pahadi Swabhiman rally is going to be held in Chamoli to protest against Minister Agarwal. The special thing is that people are being called from all over the state in this rally. The invitation for the rally is not being given by any political party or social organization but by famous faces of the state.
Minister Premchand Agarwal made such a statement on the issue of regionalism of MLA Madan Bisht during the budget session held in Dehradun on February 21 that his protest started across the state. Protests and effigies were burnt at various places. Similarly, slogans of protest are still being raised against him.
Meanwhile, now a Pahadi Swabhiman rally is being organized in Gairsain, Chamoli. The rally will be held on March 6 at Ramlila Maidan. Uttarakhand’s famous folk singer Garh Ratna Narendra Singh Negi has given this information by posting a video on his Instagram account. It is told in the video that on March 6 at 10:30 am, the people of Gairsain and its surrounding areas are going to organize a Pahadi Swabhiman Rally. Through the rally, the people present will demand the resignation of Minister Premchand Agarwal. Narendra Singh Negi has appealed to the people to register their presence in the rally and convey their demand to the Uttarakhand government and administration.
At the same time, BJP’s state general secretary Aditya Kothari has also reacted to this whole matter. He said that,
This is a matter of concern. The ruling party, the opposition or a person of any origin should use decent language. One should talk with restraint and if there is any kind of mistake somewhere, then it should be accepted. We all have been living with brotherhood for years. Therefore, the discussion that is going on is also not right.
