Uttarakhand: 117th All India Farmers Fair will be held in Pantnagar on March 7, 30 thousand farmers will participate

The 117th All India Farmers Fair will be inaugurated by former Chief Minister and former Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. An exhibition of high quality seeds, state-of-the-art agricultural machinery and trees and plants will be organized in the fair to be held at Pantnagar Agricultural University for four days. The university has made all the preparations for it. 30 thousand farmers are expected to reach the fair.

Bhagat Singh Koshyari will inaugurate the Indian Farmers Fair: The four-day 117th All India Farmers Fair to be held at Pantnagar Agricultural University from tomorrow will be inaugurated by former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Apart from this, MP Ajay Bhatt and Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi will be present. In the four-day fair, about 350 stalls of advanced seeds, modern machinery used in agriculture, flowers, fruits, vegetable plants have been set up for the farmers.

Information will be given about off-season paddy cultivation: Farmers from many states of the country as well as neighboring country Nepal will also participate in the four-day fair. This time the scientists of the university will provide information about the option of off-season paddy cultivation in the fair. Apart from this, the farmers will also be taught the tricks of farming in a scientific way.

30 thousand farmers expected to arrive: Vice Chancellor Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that this time in the fair, instead of off-season paddy cultivation, the team of scientists will tell the farmers about the options of other crops. For this, one thousand farmers will be made aware every day. He said that this time about 30 thousand farmers are expected to arrive in the fair.
