PM Modi gave a new direction to winter tourism on his Mukhwa-Harsil tour, appealed to the country to come to Uttarakhand for heat tourism

There is no off season in Uttarakhand

While addressing the public meeting in Harshil, PM Modi talked about promoting winter tourism. PM Modi said that ‘I want that there should be no off season in Uttarakhand.’ He said that this is the era of on and not off season. A large number of tourists come to Uttarakhand in season, in off season winter hotels, homestays remain vacant. Which brings sluggishness in the economy.

The sun shines on the mountains in winter

The weather here will thrill the tourists in the winter season. Special rituals are also held here at this time. The rituals performed here are ancient and amazing. The Uttarakhand government’s aim of year-round tourism will provide employment to the people here. He said that ‘when there is fog in a large part of the country and the Sun God is not visible, then the sunshine is enjoyed on the mountains.’

The PM appealed to entrepreneurs

He said that ‘this can become a special event. In Garhwali it will be called Ghaam Taapo tourism. For this, people from every corner of the country must come to Uttarakhand.’ Especially the corporate world should become a part of winter tourism. There can be no other place than Devbhoomi for meetings, conferences as well as exhibitions in winter. He appealed to big entrepreneurs to come to Uttarakhand for the seminar.

Youth will get employment from home

With which their economy will be strengthened, employment will be available at home. PM Modi said that the coming decade belongs to Uttarakhand. He said that during the Kedarnath tour, I said that the coming decade will belong to Uttarakhand. I am seeing that with the blessings of Baba Kedar, that feeling is turning into reality.
