Uttarakhand: Congress released the poster of ‘Mera Vote Mera Adhikar’ program, also released the helpline number

Congress party has launched the poster of Mera Vote Mera Adhikar program today regarding the discrepancy in the voter list. The poster of the program was launched at the Congress State Headquarters in the presence of Congress State President Karan Mahara. On this occasion, the Uttarakhand Human Rights Protection Committee constituted by the Congress Party also released email meravote@inc.in and WhatsApp number 74528 94623 for the complaints of voters.
The members of the committee said that the Congress Party is not raising any question on the Election Commission, the election process and the discretion of the voter, but efforts are being made to make the election process transparent and to know the process of cutting the votes of those whose votes were cut in January 2025 or the work behind it. Congress State President Karan Mahara said that our team will visit all the 100 municipal bodies of Uttarakhand district-wise regarding the discrepancy in the voter lists and identify 20 such people whose votes have been removed.
Karan Mahara said that this campaign will be run at the level of District Congress Committee and Block Congress Committee. Committee member Abhinav Thapar said that the Congress party will take the campaign forward through public awareness and legal process. The Congress party will reach out to people deprived of voting rights. Under this program, information will be sought from all the municipal bodies by filing more than 2 thousand RTIs. When the information comes that there has been a mistake in the voter list, then the Congress party will hold protests at the district and block level.
