Uttarakhand: Police encounter with cow smugglers, two miscreants injured, two absconding

There was an encounter between Kashipur police and cow smugglers in Udham Singh Nagar last night. Two miscreants were injured in retaliatory firing. While two accused took advantage of the darkness and fled from the spot. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Let us tell you that late night cow smugglers opened fire on the police during checking. In the retaliatory firing, the smugglers got shot in the leg. The accused have been identified as Ibrahim and Arif. According to the police, cases have been registered against both the miscreants in the past as well. Both the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Search for absconding smugglers continues
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, SSP Manikant Mishra reached the hospital after receiving the information and inquired about the matter from the police officers. Police has freed 2 illegal weapons and 1 cow from the accused cow smugglers. While the search for two other absconding smugglers Iqbal and Afzal is on.
