In the meeting, answers were sought from the police officers on illegal liquor sale, on which the police officers talked about taking action on liquor smuggling regularly. Due to which the action of the police on illegal drugs is suspicious.

Taking cognizance of which, it has been decided in the cabinet to close the departmental stores of Rishikesh and Haridwar after March 31.
Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal said that today home delivery of illegal liquor is being done. The future of the youth is getting destroyed by falling prey to drugs like hashish, ganja and opium. He told that police officers have been strictly told that if illegal drugs are sold in the jurisdiction of the police post, then action will be taken against the post in-charges of that concerned area.
Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal said that railings, lights and sitting benches are being damaged by miscreants on Aastha Path every day. In such a situation, police officers have been instructed to keep a strict watch on miscreants on Aastha Path. Apart from this, instructions have been issued to run a campaign against those doing obscene acts and to verify outsiders. Along with this, rules have also been asked to be made for traffic system.
