Health operation center will be built for emergency services in Uttarakhand, Chardham pilgrims will get help

For the first time, a health operations center will be set up in Uttarakhand to monitor emergency health services during the Chardham Yatra. The central government has approved this. This center will be set up at a cost of about five crores.

This time the Chardham Yatra is starting from April 30. During the journey, there is a risk of heart attack due to sudden deterioration of health of pilgrims due to lack of oxygen along with cold in the high Himalayan regions. 26 medical response points and 50 screening centers are set up by the Health Department on the Chardham Yatra route.

Apart from this, there are also permanent health centers and hospitals on the routes. But till now there is no operational center to provide immediate health services in case of emergency during the journey. On the proposal of the state government, the central government has approved the Health Operation Center. For this, an amount of five crores will be given by the central government.

The Health Department has provided space in the Directorate General for the operational center. The state government is trying to operate the compliance center before the Chardham Yatra begins. Due to which health services in Chardhams can be monitored from one place. Along with this, in case of emergency, if any devotee has to be referred to a higher center or air lift is required, then immediate action will be taken from the operations center.

Health services will be monitored 24 hours a day from the operations center during the Chardham Yatra. Till now this arrangement was not there. This center is being established for the first time in the state with the cooperation of the central government. This time our effort is that no pilgrim should die during the journey.
