Chinese scientists have done a miracle, prepared a vaccine for heart attack and stroke, millions will be saved from death
Every year 1.79 crore people die due to heart disease. At the same time, millions of people face lifelong problems. Most people die of heart attack and stroke, but if Chinese scientists are to be believed, this will happen very less now because they have claimed to make a vaccine to prevent heart attack and stroke. Chinese scientists say that they have made an injection that will not stick cholesterol in the arteries, due to which blood clots are formed and due to obstruction in the path of blood, the risk of heart attack and stroke increases. This discovery of Chinese scientists has been published in the Nature Journal.
How does heart attack and stroke occur?
When cholesterol plaque accumulates in the arteries, it starts narrowing the artery. This reduces the flow of blood. Due to this, less blood reaches the heart. When less blood reaches the heart, the heart will not be able to pump. This increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. In heart disease, people die most of the times due to heart attack and stroke. The problem is that when cholesterol starts sticking to the arteries, it is not detected at all. This is the reason why people die of sudden heart attacks. At the same time, when the heart stops pumping, less oxygen reaches the brain and this causes stroke. In this, due to lack of oxygen in the brain, brain cells start dying.
A protein stops plaque from forming
Chinese scientists have currently done this study on mice. In this study, the injection has been successful in preventing plaque from accumulating in mice. This is the first research of its kind in which plaque has been stopped from accumulating in the arteries of mice. Scientists of Nanjing University of Science and Technology say that we have currently made a nano vaccine and it has been proved in pre-clinical data that this vaccine does not allow plaque to accumulate in the arteries. In earlier research, a digital library was prepared from many types of proteins, after understanding which, work was done in the direction of how to increase the immune system of the body to reduce inflammation. In this research, it was found that a protein called p 210 activates the immune system so much that plaque does not accumulate in the arteries. This vaccine is the next step in this direction. Now if this experiment is successful on humans, then it will be a very big step. This can save millions of people from death.
