Ayushman cards have been made for 59 lakh people in Uttarakhand, know how many people have availed the benefits of the scheme

So far, Ayushman cards of 59.34 lakh people have been made in Uttarakhand. So far, more than 14 lakh people have benefited from this scheme, on which the government has spent a budget of 2688 crores. To ensure that the people of the state are not deprived of the Ayushman scheme, the government has set a target of making Ayushman cards for 100% of the people.

Ayushman cards made for 59 lakh people in the state

Giving information, Dhan Singh Rawat said that under the scheme, Ayushman cards of 5934076 people have been made in the state. In which cards of 298246 people have been made in Almora district. Similarly, Ayushman cards have been made for 130670 people in Bageshwar, 226919 in Chamoli, 144851 in Champawat, 1187068 in Dehradun, 1001706 in Haridwar, 575810 in Nainital, 421711 in Pauri, 2,55,837 in Pithoragarh, 136012 in Rudraprayag, 353749 in Tehri, 1003902 in Udham Singh Nagar and 1,97,595 people in Uttarkashi.

1409251 people got free treatment

The Health Minister informed that under the Ayushman scheme, so far 1409251 people have got free treatment in the state. Which includes 41699 people in Almora, 19666 in Bageshwar, 52476 in Chamoli, 26294 in Champawat, 356880 in Dehradun, 253295 in Haridwar, 124600 in Nainital, 113122 in Pauri, 46588 in Pithoragarh, 31794 in Rudraprayag, 78504 in Tehri, 218261 in Udham Singh Nagar and 46072 in Uttarkashi.

Uttarakhand government spent 2688 crores on Ayushman Yojana

The minister said that the government has so far spent a budget of Rs 2688.09 crore on the treatment done under the Ayushman Yojana. Continuous campaigns are being run to make Ayushman cards for 100% of the people in the state. Which is being continuously monitored by the health department.

Public is being made aware

The Health Minister said that under the scheme, Ayushman cards of people are being made in the medical units of all the districts, along with this, common people are also being made aware about making Ayushman cards. Dr. Rawat said that soon a special campaign will be launched to make cards for the people who have been deprived of Ayushman cards in the rural areas of the state.

The people of the state are taking full advantage of the health schemes: Minister

Medical Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the state government is constantly engaged in strengthening the medical services of the state. Work is being done at every level to make the benefits of health schemes accessible to the common man of the state.
