Uttarakhand / Dehradun: In broad daylight, armed miscreants looted the public service center in the market, robbed the cash at gunpoint
Three armed miscreants carried out a robbery at a Public Service Center (CSC) in broad daylight in Vani Vihar of Raipur area of Dehradun. The miscreants looted three and a half lakh rupees kept in the cash box at gunpoint. The CSC operator also chased the miscreants who fled on a scooter, but the miscreants hit his scooter and fled.
The police and forensic team reached the spot and investigated. Three police teams have been deployed to search for the miscreants. SP Rural-1 Jaya Baloni said that the incident took place in the market located near Jain Plot in Vani Vihar. Local resident Arun Pal runs a public service center here. He was sitting alone in the CSC at around four o’clock on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, a scooter stopped in front of the CSC and three people entered one after the other. Before Arun Pal could understand anything, the miscreants started abusing him and showed him a pistol and asked him to open the cash box.
As soon as Arun Pal opened the cash box, a miscreant took away the cash kept in it. After this, they started running away from there on a scooter. When Arun Pal raised an alarm, the nearby shopkeepers also gathered there. Meanwhile, Arun Pal started chasing the miscreants on his scooter. After some time, as soon as he reached near them, the miscreants hit his scooter and made him fall. The shopkeepers who came from behind picked him up and informed the police. After some time, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
SP Rural said that three miscreants are seen in the footage of CCTV cameras. Till now it has not been known whether anyone was outside with them or not. Three teams have been deployed to search for the miscreants. The route of the accused is being investigated. He told that according to the operator, the total cash was three and a half lakh rupees. Apart from this, all the goods there are safe.

In such a situation, information about the people coming to his CSC is also being taken. They are being matched with the footage of CCTV cameras.
