Uttarakhand: If the father gets the house, the son will not get it, these many provisions have been made in PM Awas Yojana 2.0

With the launch of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0, its new rules have also been issued. For the first time, it has been provided that if the father in the family has taken a house under the PM Awas Yojana, then his child cannot get the benefit for 20 years. The Center has issued all such rules.

After the change, those people will not get the benefit of this scheme, whose parents have already got the benefit under it. Earlier in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, apart from those parents, sons also used to get the benefit of the scheme. But this rule has been changed in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-2. Now those people will not be kept in this scheme, whose parents have already taken advantage of it.

The new rule states that if the parents are not there, then their sons are the owners of their property. However, a limit of 20 years has been given in it, stating that if the benefit of the scheme has been received in 20 years, then he will be out of this scheme.

Action will also be taken

Now only those people can apply in this, whose family has not yet got the benefit of the scheme. Even after this, if someone becomes a beneficiary of the scheme, then action will be taken against him. Uttarakhand has also implemented the new housing policy under the PM Awas Yojana.

Applications will be done online

This time online applications are also being made for PM Awas Yojana. For which the government has launched Awaas Plus (AwaasPlus App). In which you can fill the registration form by entering the Aadhaar number. For application, there should be Aadhaar card, PAN card, income certificate, voter ID, caste certificate and address proof.
