Harassing an actress cost 3 IPS officers dearly, Andhra Pradesh government extended suspension
The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday extended the suspension of three IPS officers Vishal Gunni, Kanti Ratan Tata and P. Sitaram Anjaneyulu, who were allegedly involved in harassing Mumbai-based actress and model Kadambari Narendra Kumar Jethani, by six months.
The officers were first suspended on September 15, 2024 for hastily arresting and harassing Jethani without proper investigation in a case registered against him.
Chief Secretary K. Vijay Anand said in a government order that the government is extending the suspension of Vishal Gunni (IPS- 2010) by 180 more days (September 9, 2025) or till further orders. The government has also issued similar orders for Kanti Ratan and Sitaram Anjaneyulu.
