How did they enter my district? Bareilly SSP enraged by Uttarakhand police’s surgical strike, ordered an inquiry against this IPS

The matter of surgical strike by Uttarakhand police in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh on March 9 is now gaining momentum. SSP of Udham Singh Nagar had entered Bareilly and carried out surgical strike with 300 policemen, on which SSP of Bareilly had raised questions. Now the villagers of the village where surgical strike was carried out have filed a complaint against Uttarakhand police and demanded action. SSP of Bareilly has also formed an investigation committee and started action after receiving complaints against Uttarakhand police.

The whole matter is of Agaraspur village of Fatehganj West police station. On March 9, based on an input, Uttarakhand police carried out surgical strike with heavy police force. Many senior police officers, sub-inspectors and constables including SSP of Udham Singh Nagar were involved in this. SSP of Bareilly got angry after this sudden surgical strike. He said that if any action was to be taken against drug dealers in Bareilly, then it was necessary to inform first. It was wrong to enter his district and carry out surgical strike without informing.

On the other hand, SSP of Udham Singh Nagar Manikant Mishra got angry when SSP of Bareilly raised questions. After this, allegations and counter-allegations started between the two SSPs. Now some villagers of Agaraspur village have complained to Bareilly police against Uttarakhand police, which gave SSP of Bareilly an opportunity to take action against Uttarakhand police. He has ordered an investigation by forming a team of three senior police officers under the leadership of SP South Mukesh Mishra.

At present, this fight between Uttarakhand and Bareilly police is getting heated. Now it remains to be seen who prevails over whom in this matter. But even after so much uproar, IG of Bareilly Range and ADG of the zone are avoiding saying anything on the matter and are watching the spectacle.
