Under the campaign, stray cattle are being sent to the Gaushadaan. In the same sequence, the team of Municipal Corporation Almora has sent two cattle roaming in the market to the Gaushadaan. During this, a pet cattle was found. The Municipal Corporation has issued a challan of Rs 5,000 to its owner.

Regarding the matter, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Bharat Tripathi said that there is a possibility of accidents every day due to the cattle left stray in the city. He said that the Municipal Corporation team is continuously running a campaign. Also, people are being appealed not to leave their pet cattle stray.
