Youth Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Rajput murdered in broad daylight, Sachin Pilot-Ashok Gehlot furious at the government
On Wednesday (March 12), youth Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Rajput was beaten to death by some unknown assailants outside the Panchayat Samiti gate in broad daylight in Dholpur, Rajasthan. After this incident, there is anger in the Congress party and serious questions are being raised on the law and order of the state government. Many leaders including former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot and Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera have criticized the government and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed concern over the law and order of the state and strict action has been demanded in the case. At the same time, according to the police, a case of murder has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the family and the accused are being searched.
What did Ashok Gehlot say?
Ashok Gehlot wrote on the social media site ‘X’, “Our Congress family colleague, youth leader Bhupendra Singh Rajput was attacked and brutally murdered. Violence, hooliganism and murder have now become common in the entire state and the people of the state are dissatisfied with the deteriorating law and order situation every day. The police should arrest the culprits as soon as possible. I have deep condolences for Bhupendra Singh’s family. May God give them the strength to bear this immense sorrow.”
Sachin Pilot’s reaction
Congress leader Sachin Pilot has also strongly condemned this incident. In a post on ‘X’, he has described it as extremely sad. He wrote, “The brutal murder of Rajasthan Youth Congress colleague Bhupendra Singh Rajput is extremely sad and I strongly condemn this attack. My condolences are with his family in this difficult time. I demand from the government that the culprits should be arrested soon and strict action should be taken.”
Pawan Khera also gave a statement
Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera wrote on ‘X’, “The broad daylight murder of Rajasthan Pradesh Youth Congress’s Bhupendra Singh Rajput is a living example of the deteriorating law and order situation under the Rajasthan government. Every Congress worker will fight for justice for Bhupendra.
At present, the political stir in the state has intensified due to this incident and questions are being raised on the government regarding law and order.
