50KM speed… storm, rain and hail; disaster alert in 14 states, IMD gave the same update

The weather of the country is again fluctuating. Sometimes it is hot, sometimes it is rain, sometimes it is cold. Weather warning has been issued again in the country. Today is Holi. There is a possibility of rain in North-West India on Holi and snowfall is also expected in many states. A period of severe heat has started in many states. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert in this regard. According to the IMD forecast, the sky will be cloudy on Holi day on March 14 and it will rain in the plains of North-West India.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate snowfall and rain is also likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh today. There will be snowfall and rain in the rest of Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The weather of Delhi will be mixed.

Rain warning in these states

A western depression is active as a cyclonic circulation over Afghanistan, while a cyclonic circulation is located over southwest Rajasthan. Due to this, there will be thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from 14 to 16 March. There will be snowfall and rain. Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan will receive heavy rains with strong winds for 4 days.

A cyclonic wind area is formed over eastern Bangladesh, due to which there is a possibility of thunderstorms, heavy snowfall and rain in Arunachal Pradesh on 13-14 March. From 14 to 17 March, strong winds will blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and there will be heavy rain with thunder. Hailstorms will continue. There will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in the plains of North-West India in the next 24 hours and in Central India in the next 48 hours and after that it will decrease by 2-3 degrees Celsius. In the next 4-5 days, the maximum temperature in parts of western India will gradually decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius, while in the next 3 days the maximum temperature in eastern India will increase by about 2-3 degrees Celsius.

Heat wave warning in these states

The Meteorological Department has issued a severe heat wave warning. Heat wave conditions will prevail in Gujarat and South-West Rajasthan on March 13, in Chhattisgarh on March 14, in Odisha on March 14-17, in Jharkhand on March 14-17 and in the coastal areas of the Ganges in West Bengal on March 15-17. The maximum temperature in Gujarat and Rajasthan was between 40-42 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature in Odisha, Konkan and Goa was recorded between 38-40 degrees Celsius. Temperatures were recorded at 36-38 degrees Celsius in Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Jharkhand, coastal areas of the Ganges in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh.

Delhi-NCR weather

Delhi-NCR will remain cloudy and it will rain. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Delhi NCR has increased by 1 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature has decreased by 1 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Delhi was between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was between 17 to 19 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light rain in the capital this evening. The sky will remain cloudy and it will rain in Delhi NCR for the next three days from 14 to 16 March.
