Holi celebrations in Uttarakhand, people drenched in colours from mountains to plains, police also on alert

Holi is being celebrated in Uttarakhand. Holi is being played with enthusiasm and gaiety throughout the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Lt. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh have wished the people of the state a Happy Holi.

Holi celebrated in Raj Bhavan, Governor gave best wishes

Holi was celebrated in Raj Bhavan, Dehradun. During this, Governor Lt. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh played Holi. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Raj Bhavan and wished the Governor a Happy Holi and applied gulal to him. State Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi and DGP Deepam Seth were also present on this occasion. Governor Lt. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh has wished the entire state on the occasion of Holi. During this, Holi of flowers was also played especially in Raj Bhavan.

Holi is also celebrated in Garhwal and Kumaon

At the same time, Holi is being celebrated in Garhwal and Kumaon. People are seen playing Holi in most areas of Garhwal, while Kumaon is also in the Holi mood. Teams of Holi revelers are roaming in different areas since morning singing Holi songs.

Police is also alert, keeping an eye

While looking at the ruckus during Holi, the police is also alert. Since today is Juma and Ramzan is also going on, hence there is a double challenge for the police. Vigilance is being maintained in the sensitive areas of the state.
