Police say that investigation is going on.

These women were living in six apartments

Police said that investigation has revealed that all the foreign women are from Thailand. All these women were living in six different apartments. According to police officials, these foreign women could not give a satisfactory explanation about living here. During this time, only one woman provided a copy of the document of living on rent to the police.

Apartment owner also questioned

According to a statement issued by the police in the case of foreign women found, apartment owner Shakti Singh was contacted. He was instructed to provide documents and information about the foreign residents. However, he failed to submit the rental agreement, complete Form C (required under Foreigner Registration Rule 14) or give details about the purpose of the women’s stay. Police have registered an FIR against Shakti Singh and some unknown persons in connection with the case. Police say the matter is being investigated.
