Bihar: After Araria, ASI murdered in Munger; killed when he went to resolve a dispute between two parties on Holi
There is a ruckus in Bihar again. After Araria, now the police team has been attacked in Munger. On Friday (14 March), the ASI who came to resolve the dispute between two parties was attacked with a sharp weapon. ASI fell unconscious after getting a sharp injury on the head. Police reached on information. The injured ASI was admitted to a private hospital. ASI died at 3 am during treatment. The incident took place in Nandlalpura of Mufassil police station area. Police have arrested 2 people in the case.

On Friday, on Holi, in Nandlalpur village, there was a fight between two parties over some issue. On Friday evening, information was received on Dial 112 that a family in Nandlalpur village was creating a ruckus after drinking alcohol. ASI Santosh Kumar Singh reached the spot to verify the information. ASI Santosh Kumar started trying to convince both the fighting parties. Meanwhile, one party attacked Santosh on the head with a sharp weapon. Santosh fell unconscious.
Santosh was posted in Mufassil police station for one year
Fellow policemen admitted Santosh Kumar to Sadar Hospital. Seeing his critical condition, doctors referred him to Patna. Santosh Kumar died while being taken to Patna. Police have arrested 2 people in the case. Santosh Kumar was a resident of Bhabua. He was posted in Mufassil police station for one year. Currently, he was on duty in the Dial 112 team.
Will be arrested as soon as possible
SP Syed Imran Masood said that in the evening, information was received on Dial 112 that a family was creating ruckus after consuming alcohol in Nandlalpur village. ASI Santosh Kumar Singh reached the spot to verify the information. The accused and his entire family attacked Santosh Kumar. He has suffered serious injuries. ASI Santosh Kumar has been referred to Patna for treatment. Whoever is accused in the case will be arrested as soon as possible.
Araria: ASI beaten to death
On Wednesday night, a police team went to raid the Fulkaha market in Araria. The police had gone to arrest a wanted criminal. The criminal was arrested, but during this time, the team was attacked by anti-social elements. ASI Rajiv Ranjan was beaten and injured. Rajiv was brought to the hospital. He died during treatment. Meanwhile, the villagers rescued the criminal.
