In five years, Ram Mandir paid 400 crore tax, during Maha Kumbh 1.5 crore people visited Ramlala

The economy of Ayodhya has changed due to the construction of Ram temple. In the last five years, tourists and devotees have increased tenfold in Ramnagari, and new employment opportunities have also increased. Ayodhya is becoming a hub of religious tourism. Due to this, not only the economic condition of Ayodhya has changed but the government has also benefited. In the last five years, the government has received tax of 400 crores from Ram temple. After the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala, five crore devotees have visited Ramlala in a year.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai told in a program that between February 5, 2020 and February 5, 2025, the Ram Mandir Trust alone has given tax of about 400 crores to the government. In this, 270 crores is of GST, the remaining tax of 130 crores has been received by the government in many other items. According to Champat Rai, CAG officials come many times to see the accounts of the trust. When CAG officials came about six months ago, we asked them to do an economic analysis of Ayodhya. From February 5, 2020 to February 28, 2025, tax of Rs 396.26 crore has been given to the government. This round figure is Rs 400 crore.
One and a half crore people visited Ramlala in Mahakumbh
According to Champat Rai, if we look at the figures from January 15 to February 28 during Mahakumbh 2025, then every day four to four and a half lakh people reached Ayodhya for darshan. During this period, about one and a half crore people visited Ramlala. 10 trains were coming from Kumbh to Ayodhya every day. According to the information received from the Railways, every day four thousand people kept reaching Ayodhya by one train. In this way, 40 to 50 thousand people used to reach Ayodhya by train daily.
