Uttarakhand: Badamawala restaurant fire incident; Police officer in charge, SSP takes action

SSP Ajay Singh has taken action against Vikasnagar Kotwal Rajesh Shah for negligence in the Badamawala restaurant fire case. Kotwal Rajesh Shah has been attached to the SSP office and the investigation of the case has been handed over to the Superintendent of Police Vikasnagar.

It is worth noting that on last Friday, on the day of Holi, there was a dispute between two parties. The dispute escalated so much that one party set fire to the Anand Vatika restaurant located in Badamawala. Vikasnagar Kotwal Rajesh Shah has been removed and attached to the SSP office for negligence in the fire case and no action being taken in the case till now and the higher officials not being informed about the correct facts.

Regarding the matter, the restaurant owner Rahul Sethia had told that on March 14, some youths were partying in his restaurant. Meanwhile, some more youths came to the restaurant. The employees told the youths that the restaurant is already booked. On which the youth started insisting to sit at the restaurant. But during the party, a dispute broke out between the youths of the first party and the youths of the second party. During this, one party set the restaurant on fire.
