Uttarakhand: Haryana youth were creating ruckus by consuming drugs in a public place, police taught them a lesson
Under Mission Maryada, Pauri Police has taught a lesson to the youth of Haryana who were creating a ruckus by consuming drugs in a public place. Police has taken this action on the instructions of Pauri SSP.
Consuming drugs in a public place proved costly
Pauri SSP Lokeshwar Singh has given instructions to take strict action against those who drink alcohol and create a ruckus in public places. On the instructions of SSP, a police team led by the Inspector-in-Charge of Lansdowne conducted a checking campaign late Saturday night.
Police taught a lesson
According to the police, during the late night checking, five people were openly consuming drugs in a public place near Gandhi Chowk Lansdowne. During interrogation, it was found that all the five youths were residents of Haryana, who had come to visit Lansdowne. Police took all the five persons to the police station and got them medically examined. After which the police took strict action against all the five under the Police Act.
