15 excellent schools of Uttarkashi have got the gift of buses. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the buses at the camp office in Dehradun on Tuesday. During this, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat was also present with CM Dhami.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday flagged off 15 buses for transport facility in cluster schools of Uttarkashi district from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. The Chief Minister said that with the availability of bus facility for school children, they will save time in school commuting. This kind of innovation will facilitate children in studies. The CM said that this commendable effort has been made keeping in mind the facilities of school children.
The DM of Uttarkashi has purchased the buses from the CSR and untied funds of Mineral Trust Foundation. A total amount of Rs 3 crore has been approved at the rate of Rs 20 lakh per bus. The primary and upper primary schools for which this bus facility is being provided include 5 buses for Block Naugaon, 3 each for Block Bhatwadi and Block Dunda, 2 for Block Purola, while 1 bus each has been provided for Block Chinyalisaur and Block Mori.
Children will get facility: Minister
Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that after the operation of buses, students studying in border districts will get the facility to go to school, due to which there will be no hindrance in their education and they will move towards a bright future.
