Chardham Yatra (Chardham yatra 2025) is going to start in Uttarakhand from 30th April. To make the journey smooth, the police administration has intensified its preparations. This year the police administration has prepared a special traffic plan to deal with the jam.

IG Garhwal Rajiv Swaroop while giving information said that this year the police administration has prepared a special traffic plan to deal with the jam. Rajiv Swaroop says that the Chardham route has been divided into a sector every 10 km. The responsibility of this sector has been given to the local police station along with the officials, policemen. In case of jam on the Yatra route, the passengers will be stopped at such a barrier where all kinds of basic facilities are available. So that the passengers do not have to face problems.
When will the doors of the four Dhams open?
Chardham Yatra is going to start from 30th April. On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on 30 April, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be opened for devotees. While the doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened on 2 May and the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened for devotees on 4 May. The government administration has intensified its preparations to make the Chardham Yatra smooth and organized.
Ban on VIP darshan for the first one month
The Dhami government has banned VIP darshan in the first one month of Chardham Yatra. In this regard, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has sent a letter to the Chief Secretaries of other states. In which it has been said that no VIP should come for darshan in the first one month. It has been said in the letter that if any VIP devotee comes for darshan in the first month, then he will have to do darshan like a common devotee. It has been clearly stated in the letter that no protocol will be given to VIP devotees in the first one month.
