Uttarakhand: Now high speed internet will reach every village, Broadband Mission 2.0 will start from April 1

The 7th State Broadband Committee meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Radha Raturi in the Secretariat. In which important decisions were taken regarding the effective implementation of National Broadband Mission 2.0.
Broadband Mission 2.0 will start from April 1
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi directed to promote satellite broadband and maximum use of optical ground wire with the help of Pitkul and UPCL to ensure availability of high-speed internet in rural and remote areas. Also directed the officials to complete the 4G saturation scheme of BSNL within the stipulated time.
Preparations to deliver high-speed internet to every village
CS reviewed the BharatNet scheme. During this, the CS said that under the BharatNet scheme, 14516 FTTH connections have been given in 1819 gram panchayats of the state so far. The Chief Secretary also directed to provide electricity connection in the remaining 19 ONTs soon. Also, instructions were given to implement the policy for regularization of aerial cables on electricity poles soon.
