Uttarakhand: Former MLA Champion gets bail, will be released from jail

Former MLA Kunwar Pranav Champion has finally got relief from the court. Champion got bail on Tuesday. After hearing the petition today, the district court has granted Champion bail.
Firing was done in Khanpur MLA’s office
On January 26, Kunwar Pranav Champion, along with his supporters, entered Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar’s office and opened fire. Along with this, Champion is also accused of assaulting Umesh Kumar’s supporter. After taking cognizance of the case, the police took Champion into custody late on January 26.
