Uttarakhand: Seva Diwas will be celebrated in the state on 23rd March on completion of three years of the current government, Dhami said – every moment of mine is dedicated to the development of the state

During a virtual meeting from Delhi, the Chief Minister directed the officials to organize various programs in the state from 22 to 25 March to mark the completion of three years of the present government. Effective initiatives should also be taken for public involvement in these events. While giving instructions to celebrate March 23 as Seva Diwas, the Chief Minister said that multipurpose camps should be organized up to the development block level to mark the completion of three years of the government. Health camps should be organized. Along with providing health related equipment to the needy people, they should be benefited from various schemes of the government. Public representatives should also be included in the work related to public welfare.

The Chief Minister said that although he is currently on a visit to Delhi, his mind is dedicated to the development of the state every moment. He said that people from every section and region of the society should be included in the programs organized to mark the completion of three years of the government. The success stories of those doing commendable work in various fields should be conveyed to the common people.

The Chief Minister said that in this three-year period, many development paradigms have been established in accordance with the public sentiments of the state. Many such decisions have been taken, which are extremely necessary for the state’s interest. Historic laws like Uniform Civil Code, strict anti-copying were implemented, which have given the state a distinct identity at the national level. For the first time, the state budget has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore to strengthen the state’s economy.

The Chief Minister directed the officials that along with the enhancement of the state’s natural water sources, efforts should be made at the grassroots level for the revival of chaal-khal, wells, gaad-gader. In view of the upcoming summer, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to ensure adequate supply of drinking water across the state.

Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Justice Pradeep Pant, Principal Secretary L. Fanai, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, DGP Deepam Seth, Secretaries, Heads of all departments, Vice President State Disaster Management Vinay Rohila, Principal Secretary R.K Sudhanshu, R.C Ajay Mishra and all District Magistrates were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
