These days, discussions of cabinet expansion have gained momentum in the political corridors of Uttarakhand. Just after the resignation of Premchand Aggarwal, the Delhi visit of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt has given more strength to these winds. Amidst all this, many BJP MLAs also ran to Delhi and took the blessings of the high command.

In fact, recently BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt also made a statement, in which he said that the cabinet can be expanded in Uttarakhand at any time. Since then, such speculations are being made that BJP is going to make a big reshuffle in the politics of the state soon. In such a situation, many MLAs have also started running to Delhi.

BJP MLA from Kedarnath Asha Nautiyal has also come after meeting Uttarakhand BJP in-charge Dushyant Gautam in Delhi. Apart from Asha Nautiyal, BJP MLA Adesh Chauhan from Ranipur assembly seat of Haridwar district also met Dushyant Gautam in Delhi.

Apart from Asha Nautiyal and Adesh Chauhan, there are reports of many other MLAs also going to Delhi and meeting the high command. After Premchand Agarwal’s resignation, five cabinet posts are lying vacant in Uttarakhand. According to the discussions in political circles, it is believed that BJP can fill three cabinet posts.
