Muskaan killed her husband along with her boyfriend

Actually this case is from Meerut in UP (up meerut saurabh kumar murder case). Where 29-year-old Saurabh Kumar was murdered by his 26-year-old wife Muskan and her 28-year-old lover Sahil. Saurabh Rajput used to work in London. Saurabh and Muskan got married in the year 2016. Both had a love marriage.

Saurabh mostly lived in London. Meanwhile, Muskan met Sahil. First they became friends. Then they fell in love and both of them started taking drugs together. However, during this time, when Saurabh came to know about his wife and Sahil, he filed for divorce in the year 2021. But then after the persuasion of the family members, the complaint was withdrawn.

Used to talk to dead mother on Snapchat

Saurabh went to London again in the year 2023. Then after two years, on 24 February 2025, Saurabh came to India to renew his passport. But Muskaan and Sahil, who fell in love with each other, had made such a plan in the meantime that shook humanity. Sahil was superstitious along with taking drugs. Sahil’s mother was not in this world but he had created an account in the name of his dead mother on Snapchat. Sahil believed that his dead mother talks to him. Muskaan took advantage of this and she started sending messages to Sahil by posing as his dead mother. Not only this, due to this superstition, he also used to tell Muskaan that he will kill Saurabh.

How the murder was carried out

Before Saurabh returned to India, Muskaan and Sahil had bought a knife and sedatives. On the night of March 3, i.e. on the day of the murder, Muskaan mixed sedatives in Saurabh’s food. When Saurabh became unconscious, Sahil held Saurabh’s hand and Muskaan made the first attack with a knife on the chest of her first love, her husband. But this brutality did not end with just the murder. Rather, after this, the body was taken to the bathroom and cut into three pieces. The head was separated from the body. The palms of both hands were cut, then half of the body was put in a bag and kept under the bed and to destroy the evidence, the room was washed with bleaching powder.

The pieces of the body were filled in a drum and cement was added

On March 4, Muskaan bought a big drum and cement from the market. Muskaan and Sahil together filled the pieces of the body in the drum and added cement. Then Muskaan left her daughter with her mother and went for a walk with Sahil.

After the murder, Saurabh’s phone was with Muskaan. So Muskaan used to reply to Saurabh’s siblings’ messages from his phone. So that no one suspects that Saurabh is no more in this world.

Revelation during interrogation

When Muskaan returned on March 17, her six-year-old daughter asked about her father Saurabh. Muskaan got emotional on this. She reached her maternal home and started blaming her in-laws for Saurabh’s murder. However, Muskaan’s family did not believe her, so they themselves took her to the police station. When the police questioned Muskaan strictly during interrogation, she broke down. She spilled the whole truth. The pieces of the dead body taken out from the drum and the blood stains left in the bathroom exposed the whole truth of this horrific murder.
