Uttarakhand: BJP state president may be announced before cabinet reshuffle, many names in the race
Before the change in the state cabinet in Uttarakhand, the new state president of BJP may be announced. After Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was in Delhi on Wednesday, discussions were rife in political circles about the possibility of cabinet reshuffle. Sources reported that both these auspicious works could be done by Navratri. The Chief Minister will return from New Delhi on Thursday.
There will be talks with the central leaders first regarding the change in the cabinet. This series of discussions can start after the representative assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to be held in Bangalore. Party’s National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh will attend the representative assembly. The representative assembly will be held from 21, 22 and 23 March. It is believed that the Dhami government will celebrate the completion of its three years with the current cabinet. The government will complete three years on March 23. After this, CM Dhami can go to Delhi to talk to the central leadership. By then the central leaders are likely to return from the representative assembly of RSS. Based on all these circumstances, it is now believed that the party can at least expand the cabinet or make changes in it during Navratri.
Many names in the race for the state president
Many names are being discussed in the race for the new state president of BJP. Among these, discussions have been quite heated about making BJP state president MP Mahendra Bhatt the president again. For the last few days, Bhatt has been the target of opponents on social media regarding his statements and his son’s land deal. The name of BJP state general secretary Aditya Kothari is also being discussed. If the party uses a Dalit face instead of a Brahmin face, then the name of former cabinet minister Khajan Das is being seriously considered. Apart from these, the name of senior MLA Vinod Chamoli is also being discussed. As women faces, the names of party MLA Asha Nautiyal and National General Secretary of Mahila Morcha Deepti Rawat Bhardwaj are also being taken. The names of many MLAs and other young leaders are also being discussed.
