Uttarakhand: CS meeting to ensure 100% benefit of government schemes to farmers, gave these guidelines

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi held a meeting of the State Level Sanctioning Committee on Agriculture at the Secretariat on Thursday. In which the Secretary has given instructions to provide 100 percent coverage of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and Kisan Mandhan Yojana.

Instructions given to implement the schemes in saturation mode
CS Raturi said that these schemes should be implemented in saturation mode. So that more and more farmers can get its benefit. CS informed that 32420 farmers have been covered under the insurance scheme for Rabi crop in 2024-25, which includes 10308.19 hectares of land. For the upcoming 2025-26, a plan has been made to include one lakh farmers in the scheme under this scheme.

E-KYC process should be completed: CS
CS directed the officials to ensure 100 percent land seeding and Aadhaar based payment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. He has instructed to complete the e-KYC process soon by organizing special camps for farmers. He has also instructed to increase the publicity of the Kisan Maandhan Yojana and organize awareness programs to connect more and more farmers. So that more and more farmers can get the benefit of the scheme.
