After the resignation of Premchand Agarwal in Uttarakhand, the discussion of cabinet expansion is going on in full swing. In such a situation, the Congress is constantly attacking the Dhami government. Whereas Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami already has huge departments. In such a situation, after Premchand Agarwal resigned from the post of minister, all his departments have been vested in the departments of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. At the same time, the opposition is demanding a cabinet expansion soon, so that the blocked development work in the state can get momentum.
After this, the number of departments with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has increased further. The big challenge for the government is how to bring these departments and the schemes of those departments on the ground in a better way. At the same time, now the opposition is raising the question that no question of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is resolved during the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly. Whereas there are the most and heaviest departments under the Chief Minister.
Congress state president Karan Mahara says that good and sensible people should come in the cabinet. But due to lack of ministers in the cabinet, the government is not able to discharge its duties properly. He said that the government should expand the cabinet as soon as possible. Anyway, many departments have been vested with the Chief Minister. No questions related to the departments of the Chief Minister have been resolved in the Legislative Assembly in the last four-five years. Therefore, it becomes necessary that departmental ministers be made and departments be distributed to them.

After Agarwal’s resignation, a total of five posts in the cabinet have now become vacant. In such a situation, now the opposition has also demanded an early cabinet expansion. So that the blocked development work in the state can get momentum.
