Heat will increase in Delhi-UP, chances of rain in Rajasthan-Bihar; weather may change in the mountains

The period of relief due to the effect of western disturbance is over. Now the temperature will rise and heat will increase in the northern states including Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature can reach 38 to 40 degrees only by the end of March. However, snowfall is taking place in the upper areas of Kashmir and Himachal. Due to this, there is a possibility of change in weather in some districts of Delhi and western UP.

Weather will remain clear in Delhi

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the sky will be clear on Friday. There will be bright sunshine during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be 34 and 17 degrees Celsius respectively. By March 25, it will reach 36 and 18 degrees. On the other hand, the air of Delhi is continuously clean.

According to the CPCB, on Thursday, Delhi’s AQI was 156 i.e. in the medium category. A day earlier on Wednesday, it was 160. That is, within 24 hours, a three-digit increase has been recorded in it. In the cities of NCR also, the AQI remains in the satisfactory to medium category.

Advisory issued regarding heat wave in Ghaziabad

Meanwhile, seeing the June like situation in Ghaziabad in March, the Health Department on Thursday issued an advisory regarding heat wave. Let us tell you that last year 21 people died due to heat wave. In the advisory issued on the basis of the Meteorological Department’s report, it has been advised not to go out in the sun between 11 am and 4 pm. CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that after the heat wave, many types of diseases start developing in the body.

Chances of rain in Rajasthan-Bihar

The IMD has issued a forecast of rain with snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next two days, due to which light to moderate rain with thunder is expected in Delhi-NCR, Haryana-Punjab, Rajasthan, UP and Bihar.

AYUSH Ministry launches awareness campaign to protect against extreme heat

In view of the rising temperature and the advisory issued by the Meteorological Department, the Ministry of AYUSH has launched a nationwide awareness campaign to protect against extreme heat and heat wave through its institutions spread across the country. A statement issued by the Ministry said that this campaign emphasizes on suggestions supported by scientific evidence and traditional health practices.
