Uttarakhand: In Dehradun, a 12th class student raped a 9th class student for a year, the secret was revealed after she became pregnant

A case of rape of a class 9 student studying in a government school in the city has come to light. It is alleged that the rape was committed by a class 12 student studying in the same school.

The family came to know about it when the girl fell ill. Medical examination revealed that she was six months pregnant. After this, the Nehru Colony police station filed a case against the accused student and presented him in the juvenile court, from where he was sent to the child reform home Haridwar.

According to the police, the 15-year-old girl studies in class 9. A girl is a class 12 student in the same school. Both of them used to talk, and as their houses were close, they also went to school together. It is being told that the boy used to take the victim from school for a walk. He raped the girl several times. A few days ago, when the girl suddenly fell ill, the family took her to the hospital for treatment.

Investigation revealed that the victim was six months pregnant. Hearing this, the family members were shocked. When the relatives asked the girl, she told the whole story. After this, the relatives reached Nehru Colony police station on Thursday evening and gave a complaint to the police.

SHO Nehru Colony Sanjeet Kumar said that a case has been registered against the juvenile on the basis of the complaint. He said that in view of the seriousness of the incident, the juvenile was immediately searched. On Friday, he was presented in the juvenile court in custody, from where he was sent to jail.
