He told that some time ago he had met the Foreign Minister and demanded to open passport offices in Kotdwar and Gopeshwar of Garhwal. So that the citizens of Garhwal Lok Sabha can get the benefit of all passport related services easily and smoothly. He said that the process of setting up a passport office is also going on in Gopeshwar (Chamoli district).
Garhwal MP Anil Baluni thanked the Foreign Minister. He said that taking the problems of the citizens of Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, especially the youth, seriously, prompt action has been taken on such a matter.
