There was a lot of tension after the recent violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in which many people were injured. To restore peace in the city, the police had imposed curfew in about 11 areas, even after 6 days of the incident, curfew is still imposed in 9 areas. Irfan Ansari, who was injured during this violence, has died.

Irfan was seriously injured in the violence on the 17th, who was undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital in Nagpur. He was kept in ICU since the day of the incident due to his condition.

Curfew still imposed in 9 police station areas

Curfew is imposed in nine police station areas of Nagpur city for the sixth day today after the incident of violence. Curfew was imposed in 11 police station areas of Nagpur city after the riots broke out on Monday night, curfew was lifted from two of these police station areas through an order by the Nagpur Police Commissioner on Thursday.

However, curfew has been maintained in the remaining nine police station areas for the sixth day today. Curfew has been imposed in Ganeshpeth, Kotwali, Tehsil, Lakadganj, Pachpavli, Shantinagar, Sakkardara, Imamwada and Yashodharanagar police station areas.

CM reached Nagpur for the first time after the violence

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reached Nagpur for the first time after the violence. CM Fadnavis also met senior police officers regarding the riots in Nagpur. During this, the CM said that the police had controlled the riots within 4-5 hours of the incident. Many policemen were also injured during the entire violence.

He said that after analyzing the CCTV footage and videos given by the people, 104 people have been identified so far, out of which 92 people have been arrested. Which also includes 10 teenagers. Along with this, action has also been taken on 64 social media posts.
