Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a meeting with senior police and administrative officials on Saturday regarding the Nagpur violence. After this, he said that false propaganda was spread regarding the Nagpur violence that verses of the Quran were burnt, due to which large-scale violence spread.

The CM further said, “We will not sit quiet until we teach a lesson to those involved in the violence. Especially those who have attacked the policemen, we will not spare them.”

He said, “The rioters will be made to pay for the losses caused by the violence. Their property will also be confiscated.” CM Fadnavis said about the bulldozer action that bulldozers will be used wherever required. No one will be spared.

‘Will not spare those guilty of attacking police’

CM Devendra Fadnavis had reached Nagpur for the first time after the riots. Today he got complete information about the riots in Nagpur from senior level officials. Police will arrest more people.
