These days, online registrations are going on for the Chief Minister’s Udiyaman Khiladi Yojana in Uttarakhand, which will remain open till March 31. What is this scheme and how can students take advantage of it, know in this news.

Registration for Chief Minister’s Udiyaman Khiladi Yojana

Players aged 8 to 14 years from any district in Uttarakhand can register online for the Chief Minister’s Udiyaman Khiladi Yojana. This registration is open till March 31. Under this scheme, players aged 8 to 14 years are to be given a scholarship of ₹ 1500 per month. This is the first time that players from all over the state can get their registration done online. After the last date of online registration on March 31, battery tests (a set of tests conducted to measure the physical ability and fitness of the player) will be conducted from April 1. After this, a target of 300 players has been set from each district, who will be given the benefit of this scheme.

This is how registration will be done, you will have to pass the battery test

Director Sports Department Prashant Arya said that the registration process has been kept very simple. In this, the candidate has to go to the official website of Uttarakhand Sports Department and fill his basic details in the Chief Minister’s Player Udyaman Yojana. The Director of Sports Department said that-

Along with online registration, the facility of offline registration has also been given. The concerned candidates can also get offline registration done by contacting the officials of the Sports Department present in the district. After registration, there will be a battery test. In this, the strength test of the player will be taken. On the basis of that, he will be selected for the scholarship.

Let us tell you that every candidate will be given this scholarship for only one year. To avail the scholarship again next year, he will have to qualify in the battery test again.

Mukhyamantri Khel Protsahan Yojana for 14 to 28 years

In the recently concluded 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, the players of Uttarakhand gave an excellent performance. Before the National Games, the state government had made several positive reforms in the sports policy to create an environment for sports and players in the state. Many such schemes were also launched which are helping to encourage the players in the state towards sports from childhood. Among these schemes, the Chief Minister Udayman Khiladi Yojana has been brought by the Sports Department for student-players of 8 to 14 years. At the same time, the Chief Minister Sports Promotion Scheme is being run in the state for players in the age group of 14 to 23 years. Under this, ₹ 2000 are given to the players from 14 to 23 years for sports equipment.

Reena Bagri selected in Kho-Kho team

Promising player of Rudraprayag district Reena Bagri has been selected in Uttarakhand’s Kho-Kho to participate in the All India Civil Services Tournament. There is a wave of happiness in Rudraprayag district due to the selection of Reena Bagri. It is worth noting that the All India Civil Services Tournament is being organized in Delhi till March 25. To participate in this, 14 participants from Uttarakhand Kho-Kho men’s team and 11 participants from women’s team have been selected.
