The controversy over the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb from Nagpur in Maharashtra had not even subsided when Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders reached Humayun’s tomb in Nizamuddin and inspected it. VHP leaders say that after the inspection, they will prepare a report and submit it to the central government.

Speaking to TV9 Bharatvarsh, VHP’s Delhi province minister Surendra Gupta said that we have come to inspect Delhi province. It is not possible to say much right now. How much land has been allotted? How much land has been given to the kings of this period?

Research work does not require any capacity. Any person in India can do research on any subject. Are these the only heroes and heroines related to Delhi’s history? Has any memorial been preserved for Anandpal Tomar who ruled for 300 years?

No controversial meaning should be drawn from this. We will give our report to the government and administration. The delegation of Vishwa Hindu Parishad says that the Safdarjung mausoleum will be inspected soon.
