Uttarakhand: Dhami strongly criticized those who fueled the issue of regionalism, gave advice to the leaders
Dhami Government 2.O has completed three years today on 23 March 2025. On this occasion, the Dhami government is counting the achievements and challenges of its tenure through programs across the state. During this, CM Dhami has targeted those who talk about regionalism in Uttarakhand.
On Sunday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized on the occasion of completion of 3 years of the state government at Athletics Ground, Maharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradun and flagged off the Fit India Run. During this, CM Dhami also addressed the public. In his address, CM Dhami described many achievements of 3 years of his second term. However, he made a big statement on the people and leaders talking about regionalism and casteism going on in Uttarakhand. He said that
Some anarchist elements and leaders are not careful in speaking. Due to which talks of regionalism and casteism are heard. If any person from Uttarakhand talks about regionalism and casteism, then he acts against the motherland.
Let us tell you that Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal had given a controversial statement on regionalism during the assembly session held in Dehradun. After this statement, there were protests against Premchand Agarwal in the entire state. Therefore, after about 22 days of protests, Premchand Agarwal had to resign from his ministerial post on March 16.
