Preparations to remove encroachment from Waqf Board properties

Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams, while giving information, said that the recommendation has been made on the Waqf Board 2022 Exchange Notification. Soon the tribunal will be constituted by the end of this month. After which strict action will be taken against those who encroach on the properties of the board in Uttarakhand. Shadab Shams told that the Uttarakhand Waqf Board has decided that the rent of Waqf properties will be increased.

Rent of Waqf Board properties will increase

Shadab Shams said that the income of Uttarakhand Waqf Board is very low and even today the rent of many big properties is coming in the form of Rs 20 and 25 per month. Which is not practical in any way and it is a matter of concern. Shams said that it has been decided to increase the rent on the properties of the Waqf Board. It will be brought closer to the market value so that the income of the Uttarakhand Waqf Board can be increased with this money and the poor can be helped with this money.

Shadab Shams said that the Waqf Amendment Act is being brought so that the poor can get their rights. He said that today the Waqf properties are being occupied not by the poor but by the rich. He said that the Congress got to rule for 75 years but no reforms were made in the Waqf by them.

Congress leader has occupied the Waqf property in Kaliyar: Shams

Giving information about the encroachers sitting on the Waqf properties of Uttarakhand, Shadab Shams said that big leaders of Congress are sitting on the Waqf property in Kaliyar, apart from this, about thousands of hectares of land of the Waqf Board have been illegally occupied across the state including Bhagat Singh Colony, Azad Colony, 17 Bigha Nanda Ki Chowki, Muslim Colony of Dehradun, on which action will be started from next month.

It is worth noting that at present about 2500 Waqf committees in the state have about five thousand properties. Soon all these properties will be made online. Their survey will also be done and the process of making transactions online on them is also going to start.
